APOTROPIA
APOTROPIA is an artist duo based in Rome, Italy, formed by Antonella Mignone and Cristiano Panepuccia. They work across video, dance, performance, sound and installation and explore the philosophical, anthropological and scientific elements of human culture.
APOTROPIA’s works have been exhibited internationally at Japan Media Arts Festival, Ars Electronica, BLOOOM Award, WRO Media Art Biennale, Share Festival, Athens Digital Arts Festival, Digiark – National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, FILE – Electronic Language International Festival, FutureFest Art Prize, Bienal de Arte Digital, Eurovideo, MIT Museum, Festival Internacional de la Imagen, among many others.
The artists have won an Excellence Award at the 18th Japan Media Arts Festival.
