STATION ROSE at Belvedere 21 Museum

On February 22, a performance lecture by the artist collective STATION ROSE will take place at Belvedere 21 in Vienna.

“Performance Lecture: STATION ROSE. Delivering Digital Art since 1988
From the Floppy Disk to the Metaverse”

Belvedere 21
22.2.2024, 18h30

“STATION ROSE are the artist Elisa Rose & the composer Gary Danner. The collective is one of the Austrian pioneers of digital culture.
In 2018, they transferred their early work to new systems. Their oeuvre is supported by a wide variety of media and formats – from floppy disks and immersive audiovisual installations to vinyls and NFTs, which constantly generate new forms of presentation. They are currently building their VR world “Gunafaland” in the Metaverse.
Works from their archive of digital art history from 1988 to the present day will be presented in an audiovisual performance and discussed in conversation with Dr. Christoph Thun-Hohenstein.”
