TransPass with Manuela Hartel and Munich Philharmonic Orchestra

transpass-with-manuela-hartel-and-munich-philharmonic-orchestra

Classic is club is ambient: a string quartet plays Grieg, Debussy and Bartók in the Muffathalle, its audio signal goes into the Ampere and into the Studio, where it is transformed synchronously and in real time by prominent club musicians and live electronics (“sub-ident”). The same happens through a VJ and two video artists with the visual material: the musicians filmed while playing. The audience can move freely between the Muffathalle, Ampere and Studio and follow the seamless transitions between the sounds and spaces. A spectacular event, a game of times, a historic hall of mirrors. But held together and carried by the question of identity, its complexity, its unity.
