Manuela Hartel: Exhibition "Breath" at Digital Art Space, Munich

HAUCH (“Breath”)
EXHIBITION by Manuela Hartel at digital art space Munich

Intermedial and in layers, Manuela Hartel researches the measurability or visualizability of inspiration, intuition and charisma and addresses the question of the divine in the process of creation with three performers. She arranges digital print, collage, performance and video into a large-scale installation.

Perception in the field of tension between nature and the supernatural, as well as the meaningfulness of our existence in the context of faith, religion and ritual are focal points of her artistic practice. The exhibition is the result of her “intermedial artist boot camp” in the digital art space. It is the first of three modules that Manuela Hartel brings together with dancer Rosalie Wanka, performer Maren Montauk aka composer Maren Kessler and opera singer Rachael Wilson to form a hybrid, multimedia performance project.
