The latest digital audio-visual works will be shown: NFTs, lenticular images, printing on fabric with augmented reality, media sculptures, light boxes, sandbags. Early digital works from 1988 onwards also appear in the exhibition.

STATION ROSE was founded in Vienna in 1988 by the artist Elisa Rose & the composer Gary Danner. Since that time, they have been creating digital audiovisual art, performing live in galleries, museums, clubs and on the Internet. The interweaving of real space with virtual, augmented reality, virtual reality and immersive spaces are the focus of her work.

Her <a href=”http://digitalarchive.stationrose.net” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>Digital archive</a> gives a comprehensive insight into her work. In total, more than 40 publications, vinyls, CD-ROMs etc. have been released. STATION ROSE lived abroad for 20 years, performed &amp; exhibited: Galerie Charim, MAK Vienna, MuseumsQuartier Wien, Lentos Linz, Museum Ludwig Köln, Haus der Kunst München, NGBK Berlin, Kunsthalle Wien, Städelschule Frankfurt, Cyberthon San Francisco, Ars Electronica Linz, Cimatics Brussels, ICA London etc.

STATION ROSE, “Pioneers of Digital Culture”, were awarded the Prix Ars Electronica, Honorary Mention and the Kunstwürdigungspreis of the City of Linz.
