The art area is highly staged. Impressive light and video installations invite you to stroll from Königsplatz to the Pinakotheken and light up the art area with its eighteen museums and exhibition rooms, internationally renowned universities and a variety of cultural institutions.
The light campaign “The Art Area Connects” of the state capital Munich, which has been running since December, will be supplemented on 26 January with a new projection at the Nazi docu-centre. Until 14 February 2021, the Light Action invites you to a cultural evening walk. What you see, who is behind it, what it means for culture.
From dusk, the light action inspires a visit to the art area, invites you to stroll and offers both quality of stay and orientation. The spatial totality of the artificial area can be experienced.
At the same time, the unique combination of art, culture and knowledge is staged in this place. Let yourself be stimulated to discover the diverse cultural offer of the art area yourself and of course to use it as soon as this is possible again.
