Munich – UNPAINTED, the platform for “Art in the Digital Age”, presents a new option to buy art online. UNPAINTED artstore is an online art gallery, where art lovers can purchase digital works of art from selected digital artists. “Many of the artists we have worked with in previous art fair and exhibition projects have asked us to create such a platform that will allow them more international market access,” explains Benedict Rodenstock, Managing Director.
Several international artists will be represented at the launch, including German augmented reality artists Banz & Bowinkel, the digital pioneers STATION ROSE from Vienna with their image-sound links and Jakub Nepras from Prague with his imaginative multimedia sculptures. More are to be added, like the New-York-based artist Nicole Cohen. The works of art on offer are not necessarily purely digital. They can also be physical objects, yet created using digital tools. Co-founder Irmin Beck says: “The artstore optimally complements our exhibition activities and at the same time ensures the quality of the shown art “. www.unpainted.net/artstore
