UNPAINTED exhibits digital artists at Faust Festival Munich 2018

On the occasion of the Munich Faust Festival 2018, UNPAINTED | art in the Digital Age as well as Kunstinitiative Max 33 presented artistic positions related to Goethe’s Faust at Heart House Munich from February 23rd through March 3rd, 2018.

The artistic initiative „Max 33“ unites a pop-up gallery, a space of encounter und start-up support for young students of art and academy graduates.

„UNPAINTED –art in the digital age–“ is a platform that supports contemporary artists with and without a gallery, invites curators and is dedicated to the latest developments in digital art. UNPAINTED showed a digital installation by Munich artist Barbara Herold as well as a collection of artworks by Birthe Blauth including a performance in the public space in front of Heart House.

The opening of both exhibitions took place on Friday, February 23rd in the Social Room of Heart House (by invitation).

Yet another event took place as part of the Faust Festival on the eve of March 1st: a guided tour with curators Peter Hansen (Max 33) and Irmin Rodenstock Beck (UNPAINTED), together with exhibiting artists (by invitation).

On, Saturday, March 3rd, 2018, public guided tours in small groups were offered.
