UNPAINTED Media Art Fair at Postpalast, Jan. 2014


A retrospective: The first edition of the UNPAINTED Media Art Fair took place from 16 to 20 January 2014 in Munich’s Postpalast. It was the first art fair of its kind for media art in Germany. Around 60 exhibitors from Germany and abroad took part, including galleries, gallery-independent artists as well as institutions and media partners. The exhibition was curated by co-founder Dr. Annette Doms. Li Zhenua, Zurich/Beijing, has been appointed guest co-curator. The stand design came from Irmin Rodenstock Beck. The fair attracted around 6,000 visitors. With about 200 publications, the first UNPAINTED art fair received a lively media response.
